SIR,
I AM directed by the Postmaster General to acquaint you, that
arrangements have been made by the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation
Company, for establishing a Packet communication with China in connection with
the Overland India
leaving London, viâ Southampton, on the 20th, and viâ
Marseilles, on the 26th of each month. Mails for China will accordingly be made
up at this Office on the 20th and 26th of each month, as well as on the 4th and
10th of each month.
